Mechanical Engineer
M/E 1 is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work in its Maplewood headquarters. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering and between 4 and 10 years’ experience in the design of a variety of commercial building HVAC systems, including package rooftop units, split systems, chilled water systems, condenser water systems, air rotation units, variable refrigerant systems, and others. The successful candidate should also possess experience in plumbing systems for commercial buildings ranging from small to large scale including water distribution, high and low-pressure gas, sanitary sewer, grease interceptors, storm drainage, compressed air, and other systems. Experience in the design of fire suppression systems would be a plus.
Candidates should possess a solid technical background, strong communication skills and be experienced with using AutoCAD. Professional Registration or Engineer Intern status, and Revit capability are a plus. Occasional travel and direct client communication will be required.
