Southeast Missouri Hospital – Steam Boiler Replacement

M/E 1 served as the Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager and Commissioning Agent for the $1,000,000 phased replacement of six 150 HP steam boilers and a deaerator tank at the main hospital. Tom Grassi managed construction phasing that required special design considerations to keep the boiler plant operational throughout the duration of the project, and he commissioned boilers and the control system. He also commissioned the new direct digital controls (DDCs) for the boilers and a DA tank.
